Broad Bean and Pea Mash

The new avocado on toast combo. This delicious broad bean and pea mash ticks all the boxes. High in protein and healthy fats, it’s perfect for breakfast or lunch.


  • 1 cup of broad beans
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • a squeeze of lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Boil or steam the peas and beans for about 5 minutes
  2. Add to a blender along with salt, pepper, cumin and oil and whizz up
  3. Squeeze some lemon juice over the top
  4. Enjoy on top of some sourdough toast or use as a dip
