I am a strong believer that you can improve your health through good food and a positive mind. So when I started For the Love of Lemons, my mission was to inspire and encourage people to make healthier food choices through simple changes. I have first hand experience on healing myself naturally and want to help you feel better from the inside out!
For the Love of Lemons is a place where people can share a passion for health and wellbeing. A place where ‘healthy’ is simple. I have a great passion for good healthy food, and want to share my nourishing whole food recipes with you, to help support your body and mind.
Book in to one of my easy healthy eating workshops. They are full of simple tips and ideas to help nourish and fuel your body. I also run coaching sessions where I can work with you 1-2-1 to help with Nutrition advice, Weight management, Sleep regulation, Stress management, Improve energy levels, Family nutrition.
My journey to better health started after suffering for many years with different symptoms. During my twenties I was hit with severe IBS, inflamed acne, fatigue and very poor immune function. I was sick all the time, not knowing what was causing my issues. It left me with anxiety and I realised something needed to change. After a lot of personal research and the support of an amazing nutritional therapist, I found something that worked for me. I was deficient in so many nutrients and needed to eliminate and introduce certain foods to help me feel better and heal naturally.
I am still on this journey and I am always learning and listening to my body now. I love food and I love cooking with different types of foods. I have been introduced to whole new flavours and tastes. I have fun in the kitchen and like to throw things together. I am quite impatient, so cooking is usually less than 30 mins if possible. I also have a love for chocolate, so I am always coming up with new ways to satisfy my cravings. Check out my Chocolate Beetroot Truffles. They’re my favourite!!

All For the Love of Lemons! Lemons was the first thing I introduced when changing my eating habits. I squeezed fresh lemon into hot water every day and drank this first thing in the morning. I started to notice a difference quite quickly. I was not only hydrating myself but also giving my body vitamin C, which I needed. So, this is what kick started my healthy eating journey. I now add lemons to most of my cooking and love making lemon energy balls.
