I love food and I love it even better if it makes me feel good.
So, here at For the Love of Lemons I am making ‘healthy’ easy with a selection of simple, guided healthy eating workshops. I want to share my ideas with you to help you find a healthier, happier you. Eating healthy doesn’t need to be confusing and time consuming. It is about using simple ingredients to make simple meals. My workshops are super easy, helping you make small changes to better health.

My journey to better health started after I was hit with IBS, affecting my skin and immune function. With a history of many health issues, I realised something needed to change to allow me to heal. After a lot of research and trial and error, I found something that worked for me. I needed to eliminate certain foods to avoid inflammation in my body, but I also needed to introduce some foods, as I was super deficient in certain nutrients.
I am still on this journey and I am always learning and listening to my body now. My next challenge is to move more. Something I have been working on. Yoga is my go to, as well as walks along the beach. I believe that good nutrition, movement and sleep will allow me to feel my best and be my best.

Lemons was the first thing I introduced when changing my eating habits. I squeezed fresh lemon into hot water every day and drank this first thing in the morning. I started to notice a difference quite quickly. I was not only hydrating myself but also giving my body vitamin C, which I needed. So, this is what kick started my healthy eating journey. I now add lemons to most of my cooking and love making lemon energy balls. All ‘For the Love of Lemons’.
