Turmeric milk

Golden Milk

This is my go-to for when I am feeling a little cold. Really helps me relax and curbs any hunger pangs I might have. The cinnamon helps with balancing blood sugar and the turmeric and ginger are great to help reduce inflammation. Delicious and warming. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 ginger powder
  • 1 cup of almond milk (any milk would be fine)
  • pinch of black pepper

Additions:

  • Honey or maple syrup to sweeten

Method

  1. Warm the milk and spices gently over the hob until hot.
  2. Serve as is or with a natural sweetener
  3. Enjoy!
