Turmeric tonic

Turmeric Tonic

A perfect remedy when you are feeling under the weather. This warming drink is full of vitamin C and anti-inflammatory properties. I often drink this when I feel a cold coming on and helps me feel better in no time.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 cm grated ginger
  • pinch black pepper
  • squeeze of lemon
  • hot water
  • honey (optional)

Method:

  1. Heat water
  2. Add all ingredients and mix
  3. Drink slowly
