Turmeric Milk

This is my go-to for when I am hungry in the evenings. Really helps me relax and curbs any hunger pangs I might have. The cinnamon helps with balancing blood sugar and the turmeric is great to help reduce inflammation. Delicious and warming. Yum!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup of almond milk (any milk would be fine)
  • pinch of black pepper

Additions:

  • Honey or maple syrup to sweeten

Method:

  1. Warm the milk gently over the hob
  2. Add in all the spices and mix through
  3. Serve as is or with a natural sweetener
  4. Enjoy!
